First Book Review of Tuvia Finds His Freedom

This marvelous little book, Tuvia Finds His Freedom written and photographed by Eliyahu and Shoshanah Shear,  will appeal to adults as well as to children.  It's written in an upbeat, easy to follow style which will have children eagerly waiting to hear what is coming next. Without preaching, it effectively conveys its message that Tuvia and all animals are a very special part of creation and everyone is responsible to understand their needs and to treat them with kindness and respect.
On another level the book yields itself to continued discussion with many topics to pursue depending on the child׳s specific interests or needs.

The pictures are lovely, taken from nature with many details for a child to discover in later readings. The size will fit nicely in a child's hand to either read independently or to hold and "help" the reader.

The book is one which will not sit abandoned on a shelf.
