Second Book Review of Tuvia Finds His Freedom

This book review is the second one we received, but the first one to be posted onto Amazon

There are so many things I loved about Tuvia Finds His Freedom. It is a really great length for older kids who are able to read independently but it also caters to younger kids who are read to as well. They could easily understand the concepts and ideas.

I really enjoyed how there were questions placed throughout the text and at the end to keep children engaged. I volunteer at my daughter's school and often read stories to her class during the week. Those are always the kind of stories the students enjoy and I'm happy to read to them when it's so easy to keep them involved.

This book also encompasses so many different facets: reading, science, caring for pets, kindness, respect for animals and nature, etc. You get the benefit of all of these amazing elements in one story.

The pictures were amazing. It's sometimes difficult to capture emotion and personality on an animals face, especially reptiles, but these pictures managed to do just that. It definitely sets it apart from many other books.

This book is also a gentle and calm read before bedtime. As a parent, I'm always searching for books like this. My son tends to have anxiety and difficulty sleeping so I have to be careful about the books I choose for him at night. This book would be terrific for all kids.

The life lessons in this book are also taught in a way that don't make you feel like it's judging or preaching. It uses the story of Adam, Sarah and Tuvia to explain how important it is to love and respect nature.
